Organization Description

A Way Home Washington (AWHWA), a fiscally sponsored project of TSNE MissionWorks, is mission-driven to prevent and end youth and young adult homelessness across Washington state. AWHWA partners with the state Office of Homeless Youth, philanthropic foundations, advocates, and service providers who support over 13,000 unaccompanied young people experiencing homelessness in Washington. AWHWA leads and coordinates these stakeholders as we work collectively to build a statewide system so that local communities can respond to youth and young adult homelessness in their areas.

Project Manager Position Summary

Reporting to AWHWA’s Executive Director (ED), the Project Manager will oversee the planning, staffing, implementation, and tracking of the ACI. They will be integrally involved in developing and finalizing a detailed work plan for the ACI in partnership with AWHWA staff, expert consultants, and key stakeholders. The Project Manager will also be responsible for ensuring delivery of specific process measures by April 2019 when the ACI will undergo initial review, as well as successful completion of the project by 2022.

Salary range: $65,000 – $75,000 DOE

Communications Manger Position Summary

The Communications Manager is responsible for ensuring that AWHWA produces consistent, creative, high-quality products and helps to build and maintain the organization’s brand and reputation with all audiences. This role will lead strategic planning and developing content for all of AWHWA’s external and internal communications, including media outreach and management, as well as storytelling across various platforms and projects. This includes supporting our Anchor Communities Initiative and working with stakeholders to develop and implement local communications strategies. In addition, this position includes project tracking and task management. The role engages with a diverse group of important external partners, as well as the entire internal AWHWA team.

Salary range: $65,000 – $75,000 DOE
